Bio
I was raised in a small town in North Central Missouri. My parents homeschooled me and my sister and two brothers. We went to a small country church.
Growing up I had huge amounts of freedom to read and explore. I worked in construction full time in high school for a local contractor and did whatever schoolwork my parents required in the evening. I read as much as possible and loved discussing ideas with my brothers.
My senior year of high school, I became Catholic. The first thought of doing so was inspired by the works of Peter Kreeft. My older brother showed me his book, You Can Understand the Bible. I saw a video of him giving the talk "7 Reasons Why Everyone Should Be Catholic".
The Easter that I joined the church, I met my wife, Rhéa. A few months later I asked her out, and spent the next few years working odd jobs and attending trade school while chasing her down and trying to keep from being bored. We were married on June 21st, 2025, and went to Estes Park, Colorado on our honeymoon. She is the absolute joy of my life.
I read, play drums, pretend to learn Latin, find new ways to entertain my wife, and roleplay as a homesteader in the big city.
